Summer Weekend in SoCal
With some last minutes changes in plans, and knowing that Matthew was going to be gone to his grandparents for the next week, I wanted to find something fun to do on Saturday on this summer weekend. I checked on www.southbaycalendar.org and found out that there was a food festival nearby called the Taste in San Pedro. It was a gorgeous SoCal day and here are some of the photos from Saturday afternoon.

Having a nice time at the tip of San Pedro
On Sunday we planned to meet up with Matthew's Po-Po, Auntie, Uncle and cousin Rachel for lunch down in Irvine at the Spectrum. It was pretty warm down there and we were somewhat lost because the place has expanded a lot since we last visited there. We finally met up with them and by chance had lunch at the Yard House restaurant. It turned out to be a very good restaurant, with the largest selection of draft beers I've ever seen, and very tasty food. It was a bit pricey, but the quality was excellent.

After lunch, we loaded all of Matthew's luggage and bike into Po-Po's van and he went off to spend a fun week with them! While Matthew's on vacation, Daddy gets a vacation too!
